A London-based business reached out to us with a problem affecting their Adexa commercial dishwasher, model Omniwash 5000ST. The machine was not filling, leading to a significant disruption in their daily operations.
Diagnosis and Findings
Upon arrival, our engineer inspected the dishwasher and found that it initially began filling as expected when switched on. Further examination revealed that the rinse tank was heating to the correct temperature, and the indicator lamp showed that the wash tank was also heating. However, during a test of the wash tank element, it became clear there was no power, which we traced to a faulty PCB (printed circuit board).
Solution
While the faulty PCB needed replacing, our engineer implemented a temporary fix to keep the dishwasher operational while we ordered the necessary parts. This quick action enabled the customer to continue their operations with minimal disruption.
