Job Description
Our engineers were called out to a restaurant in Wandsworth for a routine service visit on a commercial 6 burner gas hob. Upon inspection, the team discovered gas and flames escaping from underneath the appliance, posing a significant safety hazard and potential fire risk.
Diagnosis
The initial assessment confirmed that the gas leak originated from a damaged connection beneath the burner assembly. This fault was causing uncontrolled flame behaviour, which could have escalated if left unresolved. Our Gas Safe registered engineers immediately isolated the gas supply to prevent further danger.
